Rudra means the powerful form of Lord Shiva. The literal meaning of the word ‘Rudra’ is ‘the Roarer’, ‘the Fierce One’, or ‘the One who dispels sorrows’ (or ‘the One who makes others weep’—implying the destruction of the world’s sorrows and evils).
Srijak means ‘Creator’ or ‘the One who brings into existence’ (the architect of nature or the universe). Overall Significance Thus, the combined meaning of “Rudra Srijak” refers to that Supreme Power or Deity who, alongside destruction or transformation, also undertakes the creation and making of this entire universe. This name signifies the aspect of Lord Shiva who is simultaneously the Destroyer and the source of new creation.
