This form of Goddess Durga is the embodiment of Shakti. Wherever Goddess Durga is worshipped, Shakti remains present in a conscious form. Shakti does not only mean strength, the explanation of Shakti given by Rishi Markandeya is the whole form of Shakti.
*Shakti means growth, perfection, gentleness, fierceness, world prestige, consciousness, intelligence, thirst, humility, peace, faith, brightness, wealth, memory, mercy, satisfaction and desire. All these powers can be attained in life only through Shakti Sadhna.*
*If even one of these powers is missing, life starts to feel incomplete. Complete attainment of Shakti is not possible by only doing Sadhna in one form, there should be peace along with fury in life.*
