Mahakali is a fierce goddess associated with universal power, time, life, death and both rebirth and liberation. she is the consort of Bhairava, the god of consciousness, the basis of reality and existence. Kali is earliest appearance is when she emerged from goddess Durga. the goddess is stated to destroy evil in order to defend the innocent. over the time kali has been worshipped by devotional movements and tantric sects veriously as Divine Mother. she is also seen as a divine protector and one who bestows moksha or liberation.

kali is a goddess of time and change. kali is adi-shakti. she is the first and foremost among the mahavidyas. kali is the epitome of the mahavidyas. this deeksha protects the sadhak from evil forces, destroying enemies and all the pain itself get away.
